- I'm a caring, sincere and spiritually aware woman who has experienced and survived much in my 60 + years on this planet. My "resume" includes years (30+) of living alcohol and drug free after 20 years as a practicing alcoholic and addict - and experiencing all of the life-wreckage that caused. In my over- 30-year journey into health, joy and recovery I've experienced just about everything as well - including - on the "negative" side - a (nearly fatal) eating disorder, major depression and ADHD, sex and relationship addictions, the serious illness and subsequent disability of my daughter, deaths, divorce, and so on. My journey of survival and recovery have brought me through my pain and into acceptance, serenity and joy. I hope to keep on learning, growing and sharing and welcome all who chance upon my musings.
